Namasté Yoga in Tallahassee offers daily yoga classes with teachers certified in a variety of yoga traditions, currently including Kripalu Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Iyengar Yoga. Classes are suitable for beginners as well as those with a committed practice. All classes focus on integrating body, breath, mind and spirit, while building strength, promoting self-awareness, and cultivating compassion. We welcome anyone interested in exploring yoga for the first time as well as those with an ongoing yoga practice. Visit our Yahoo! Groups page and join our mailing list.
Namasté Yoga is located at Abundance Wellness Center (view directions and a map) which is located off John Knox Road in the Woodcrest Office Park. The yoga studio is in the back of the building. Please drive to the left of the building, park in the back, and enter through the small fenced backyard. It is fine to come in the front door, too—just come!
Summer 2009 Update
Special thanks to Ramona Abernathy-Paine, Carla D’Orchimont, Dick Drennon, Jean Ainsworth-Hartnek, Ruth Garrison, Geralyn Russell, Claudia Scholz, Christina Small, Barbara Jorgenson, and Kathy Weiss, who contributed energy, time, and gifts this spring to our garden. Special Time-Limited Classes:
Geralyn Russell’s highly popular DOGA class will meet this summer on June 27 and July 25 at 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Charlene Cappellini will offer a 4-week Restorative Yoga class on Tuesday mornings at 11:30 a.m.–1:00 p.m. from July 7–28.

All passes expire after three months. Passes may be shared or transferred. No refunds or credit for expired passes.
Purchase passes at Namasté from any instructor at any class.
Restorative Yoga: $15 drop-in, $48 for package of 4 classes.
DOGA: $15 per class.
Preparing for Classes
Eat lightly or not at all for at least 2 hours before class. Dress in comfortable, loose clothing. Some mats and blankets are available, but you may want to bring your own and a bottle of water. We also have ties and props. For heated classes, please bring a large towel to cover your mat and a small towel for wiping.
