She has been facilitating groups and workshops for over 25 years. Ellen began practicing yoga as a teen and returned to the practice seriously around 1989. She was certified as a teacher through Loretta Armer's yoga teacher training in 2000 and began teaching locally in Tallahassee at that time. She completed Kripalu yoga teacher training in 2001. Since 2002 she has taught three to five regular classes a week at the Namasté Yoga in Tallahassee, as well as teaching workshops and leading retreats locally and nationally.
