Focus and Flow

Thursdays 5:30–7:00 p.m.

For the continuing student of yoga, this class offers smooth sequences in a vinyasa style flow—marrying strength of movement with breath and focus of mind. Students are offered a blend of postures to gently extend their practice, in a moderately-paced flow: standing and seated postures, some standing balances, and occasional arm balances and/or inversions. Each class focuses upon inviting awareness to the muscles and cells of the body. Props are used and encouraged, and modifications are offered throughout. Class will conclude with relaxation and/or meditation.
