All classes require adult participation.
Yoga Play Ages 1-4
This class is designed for toddlers and preschool-aged children alike, with the company of an adult. Yoga Play is precisely what it sounds like, a playful environment where parents and children can expect to play with abandon, following a "yoga" format. There is no prior experience necessary to attend this class, just a willingness to play and move! This 45 min. class moves quickly through yoga songs, creative movement, free dance with scarves, yoga games, rolling and bouncing on yoga balls, partner poses, story time, yoga adventures and a little relaxation and breath awareness. It is Dawn’s goal to provide a safe and fun environment in which children and parents can begin a foundation of yoga that will help sustain their growth and development in a rich and healthy way.
Yoga Play for Parents and Babies (6-weeks through the first year)
This class is designed for parents/caregivers and their babies to participate in yoga together. The babies will be introduced to yoga in the way that they learn best, by observing and being included. Parents can expect a comfortable and supportive environment with which to reclaim their physical and mental strength. The class will also include songs, stretches and massage for the babies.
