Gentle Yoga

with Kathy Weiss and Geralyn Russell

Mondays 9:30–11:00 a.m. September 15–October 27. (7 classes)

Start your week centered, stretched, relaxed and feeling great!

Class will begin with gentle warm-ups to open the body and quiet the mind. We will practice basic yoga postures, with emphasis on alignment and core strength, and posture flows to increase flexibility, strength and stamina.

Various breathing techniques to help us stay present in the moment will be practiced and meditation opportunities are incorporated along the way. Class will end with restorative poses and deep relaxation. An additional 15 minutes of Silent Meditation is offered from 11:00-11:15 a.m.

Kathy Weiss and Geralyn Russell will share teaching responsibilities for this class.
