Yoga for Body, Heart and Mind

Tuesdays. 8:30–10:00 a.m. September 16–October 28 (7 classes).
Yoga allows us the opportunity to know ourselves more clearly and deeply, to dissolve the inner conflicts between body, heart and mind. In this class, suitable for all levels, including beginners, we will use the basic yoga practices of breathing (pranayama), postures (asana), attention and intention (dharana) in a meditative flow (dhyana) to develop strength and flexibility; to cultivate peace and equinamity. Poses are taught in a clear, step by step manner offering modifications as needed. Students are encouraged to develop sensitivity and attune to their needs. Classes will conclude with a deep relaxation and time to integrate the experience.
