Yoga and Yoga Nidra

Mondays 5:15–6:45 p.m. September 8–October 27 (9 classes).

This class is especially designed to gently stretch, strengthen, and open the entire body to release tension, reduce stress and return to a state of inner calm and balance. Each person will be encouraged to work within the limits of their individual flexibility and strength, thus learning to honor the wisdom of the body. Together we will experience how it is possible to stop the endless activity of our minds and reconnect with our own inner divinity and peace. The class concludes with 20-30 minutes of guided relaxation/meditation called yoga nidra… which is a profound method of learning to experience “Self” without the filters of the mind.
