Namasté Yoga
Welcome to Namasté Yoga. We are located in the heart of the historic Parkway District, at 1369 East Lafayette St, Tallahassee, FL, 32301. Namasté Yoga offers daily yoga classes with teachers certified in a variety of yoga traditions. Classes are suitable for beginners as well as intermediates and those with a committed practice. All classes focus on integrating body, breath, mind and spirit, while building strength, promoting self-awareness, and cultivating compassion. Drop-ins are always welcome at all classes, and we sell class passes that can be used in all classes as well. For new students, your first class is free!
We offer a wide variety of yoga classes, and we also have some exciting events and workshops coming up in the next few months. See the list below and check back for updates. Namasté!

FREE (donation) CLASS on Fridays!
Namasté Yoga offers this donation class as a gift to our community every Friday from 5:30–6:30 p.m. Optional live gong music 6:30–6:50: experience Naad Yoga, the yoga of sound vibration. While in a relaxed state, the vibrations of the gong will cleanse the subconscious, clear the nadis and chakras and awaken one to a transcendent state of awareness. The class is open to everyone—those new to yoga, as well as current Namasté or other yoga students. If you’ve been curious about a particular style of yoga, but have been hesitant to venture out of your comfort zone, now is a good opportunity to experience something new. You will have an opportunity to experience a different teacher each week, teaching her particular style of yoga. Just come and donate whatever amount you can, or accept the class as a gift. All donations for the class will go to the Tallahassee Veterans Village, a half-way house for homeless veterans.
Seva is a sanskirt word meaning “selfless service,” a core tenet of yoga and part of Namasté’s vision to support and contribute to our community in a positive way. This class is part of Namasté’s seva, reminding us of our connection to others. It is a spiritual practice that expands the hearts of the giver and receiver. Just as our veterans have served us, we wish to serve our community and to show our gratitude for the service of the veterans. Please spread the word about the class and plan to join us.
